Free Taste at Bohol Bee Farm

Share
Free taste attracts me like a firefly gets attracted to light.  Who doesn't? It's food and it's free.  Two words that serve as magnet to just about anybody.

Malunggay Ice Cream at Bohol Bee Farm

Now before my group and I went to Bohol Bee Farm, our kind-hearted tour guide already oriented us about it.   We were going there for the malunggay ice cream.

That alone was enough for us to be excited! For all you folks who don't know what malunggay or Moringa oleifera is, it's actually a wonder plant.  It's wonderful because it has loads and loads of vitamins and minerals.  It's usually added in soups or salad in a Filipino dish.   You might wonder how will it taste as ice cream yeah? We were thinking the same thing too.  So we went there to know.

The moment we got into the place, it was already dark and we were just about ready to eat dinner.  Kuya Tatsky told us that the store that welcomed us up front has number of items that offer free tastes.  I was just feeling so glad to be there already.

The line up of menu is pretty interesting.  They're serving everything from scratch, including teas, sauces and ice creams.  It was said that the owners are into healthy eating.  Thus the Bohol Bee Farm.

After eating we head on to the store to check on some of the items they're selling, but most importantly for the free taste.  We tasted different kinds of spreads and different types of honey and wine.  It was definitely a feast for our taste buds and a breather for our wallets!
