How to spend 8 Days in Malaysia: Itinerary and Expenses

To each his own.  This is just a suggested itinerary on how you could spend your 8 days in Malaysia.   This covers Kuala Lumpur, Melaka and Perhentian.



DAY 1 - Experience Kuala Lumpur's city scape

          Activity: Sound and Light show - RM10

10PM - Melaka River Cruise

DAY 4 - Heading Back to KL; Spend remaining Hours in Berjaya Time square
  • Dutch HArbour Cafe for Breakfast

1PM - Back to Melaka Bus Station - RM15 (Melaka to Station)

3PM - Back to Etika Inn
  • Berjaya Time Square
         Activity: Cosmo World

         Activity: IMAX Cinema - RM7

DAY 5 - To Perhentian

7am - Taxi to Subang Airport - RM12
        - 40 mins - 1 hour depending on traffic

8am - Air Asia - KL to Khota Baru Airport
        - Shuttle ride from airport to Kuala Besut where port is located
        - 45mins journey

9am - take boat ride from KL port to Perhentian island
        -30- 45mins

3pm - Sunset while having tea
4pm - quick dip in Coral beach
6pm - walk along long beach
7pm - dinner in the resort

DAY 6 - Exploring Kecil

6am - Early morning dip Coral beach
12nn- Lunch near resort
3pm - hanging out in the beach

DAY 7 - A day in Long Beach

8am - sunbathing along Long Beach
3pm - prepare to depart
7pm - arrival at Kuala Lumpur

DAY 8 - Head on To Central Market/Brickfields

8am - Taxi to Central market to buy souvenirs
12nn - have lunch there
2pm - Took taxi going to Brickfields
6pm - Departing Kuala Lumpur

@ sue: Thanks dear! ^^ Actually penang was one possible destination, but my friend was longing to go to the beach, so we chose Perhentian instead. :)

Malaysia is wonderful country for every tourist. Glad to see you in Malaysia. There is many things to do i must say if your want to make your trip remarkable then must have to do dive in there sea.
