Day 3: Ilocos Trip - Laoag to Pagudpod - Paoay Church

Share
Paoay Church
This Paoay church just gives me an ancient feel.  Being made from huge bricks, and having a certain special architecture to it.

I've done a bit of research and realized that this church was established back in 1710.  What we deared about the architecture is actually an adaptation of the European Baroque style.  This is why, in 1993, it became a UNESCO World Heritage.  Apart from Baroque architecture, the church has also drawn its inspiration from Javanese architecture (wikipedia June 2012).
Doesn't this one reminds you of Angkor Wat? Or maybe it's just me.

And since we were all loving Paoay Church.

This one deserves a jump shot!

Boooyyaaahhh!
