Desert?
No.
Just La Paz Sand Dunes...
Yes.
In the Philippines.
And it was AWESOME!
La Paz Sand Dunes, Ilocos |
The 4x4 ride was pretty wild. We were zooming along planes, bumpy edges, and even really steep hills that got all of us sitting down. The speed was there, the rush, the adrenalin was pumping! And by god did our smiles reach from ear to ear.
The steep climb felt like a 90-degree angle climb, that when the truck was already reaching nearly atop the peak, all we saw was the sky. We had to hold on to the steel bars and to our dear lives. It was scary but it felt damn good to be scared like that. And yes we screamed. My already grown-up brothers screamed as if they were kids again. Actually all of us felt and shouted like so. Oh the driver loved it so much, our reaction. Even giggled and repeated the steep climb once again. And there we go again, like a pack of crazy kids on a rollercoaster ride of our lives.
Php2,500 for 1 hour/4 people, but we haggled for Php2000 for 30minutes for all 6 giddy passengers.
