Almost a week here, and I've never felt happier after several months now. This was what I've been wanting all along -- Variety, and Manila has heaps of it. Skyscrapers, traffic on the street, in the mall, sale everywhere, nice tops and accessories, good looking guys, nice skin, a lot of beautiful women, not that I fancy them. Don't get me wrong. It's nice to look at women and get some inspiration on how to dress and to do their make up.

Waiting for my sister in the mall. |
You can't really get enough of people. Gradually, I have come to realize that people-watching is getting more and more addictive. And oh, especially when I get to see handsome guys again and again. Shameful to admit, but every time I see one, my gay lingo comes pouring into my head. And I'm trying to stay compose while my inner spirit is jumping and shouting. But well of course, I cannot contain myself a hundred percent. I might give off a smirk, or end up having to bite my lips to stop a grin. But my shining, shimmering, splendid eyes are just ridiculously hard to conceal, so I had no remedy but look down.
And food is almost everywhere. Food from different countries: Jamaica, India, Indonesia, Poland, Mexico, France. The list goes on. And not to mention, Dairy Queen. Oh how I love thee! There are a number of branches near where I live and it's just lovely. Every time I see it, I'm always, always tempted to get myself some dose of sugar. But I had to think twice. I have a diabetic lineage from my father, so that explains the resistance.
Today, I haven't walked so much in my entire life, not until I decided to stay in the mall for a day. And I am exhausted. I didn't purchase anything but I ended up drinking 3 beverages and skipped lunch.
I'm in for a good start.
Tomorrow? Salcedo market, where you could get food from different countries all in one place!
